I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I work and live. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. I celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
As a practising commercial graphic designer since 2004, I have always had a passion for creating designs and telling stories with typography. In 2015, I started practising calligraphy, type design and lettering. I found myself immersed in this practice and wanted to fill my days with drawing, painting and writing.
I have documented much of my learning, process and story on my Instagram account @delphiejoy and finally, in 2020 I launched this little online space. My hope is to grow the works here, share collaborations, stories and create unique designs and products that speak to you.
My underlying creative driver is to produce works that, as a community, encourage us to share kindness, advocate for positive mental health and ultimately allow us the confidence to know that we are worthy of a beautiful life.
When I am not creating, you can find me caring for my 4 young boys and working as a commercial brand consultant and designer over at See Creative.
Each year I donate a portion of any profits to Lifeline and Beyond Blue charities as they support people struggling with mental illness, desperation and suicide prevention.
